in the Dawson Creek TSA

Industrial Forestry Service Ltd. started doing a Forests for Tomorrow Backlog NSR and Impeded Assessment Project in the Peace District on May 20, 2008. Once access to RESULTS was obtained we started working on a file review on a block of mapsheets including:

 

93P.047 though 93P.050,

93P.057 though 93P.060,

93P.067 though 93P.070.

 

On these 12 mapsheets looked at there was:

5,167.5 ha

Net area checked.

4.886.5 ha

Breakdown by category (Gross Area).

Entire opening declared free growing in RESULTS.

2,288.7 ha

44.3%

All of the opening is free growing but not entered into RESULTS, according to the last survey.

224.6 ha

4.3%

All or a portion of the opening still contains some SR area that is not yet free growing, according to the last survey.

302.2 ha

5.8%

All or a portion of the opening is still NSR, according to the last survey.

2,352.0 ha

45.5%

 

Once the office review is completed an aerial review, of the opening that have not been declared free growing in RESUTLS. The tentative schedule for this aerial review is mid August.
