Impeded Data

These spreadsheets have a lot of duplication. This was intentional. There is weak/no linkages between milestone information and forest cover, therefore, it is hard to infer whether forest cover polygons are declared or not. Declaration is a pseudo-method that we have to assume whether the stand is adequately stocked. We have no other good mechanisms. The spreadsheet was kept this as broad as possible, and with the office verification component, the record updates in RESULTS will confirm whether the opening is considered to be adequately stocked.

With duplication in the impeded and NSR spreadsheets these "detailed" reports were not used to generate total hectare roll up as this would inflate the numbers. There are a few steps in between were done to collapse to unique opening/forest cover stratum before the district/regional roll ups were done. Do not use a straight sum of the spreadsheet as this was never the intent.
