IDIR accounts

IDIR is an information directory domain for ministry employees to securely access British Columbia government systems. IDIR accounts can be issued to FFT users not directly employed by the ministry (e.g., contractors) under the following conditions:

1.      The IDIR account is never used by anyone other than the person to whom it has been issued; and

2.      The account is needed to complete an FFT project

Contact FFT regional or branch personnel if you need an IDIR account. Your FFT contact (see list below) will need the following information:

1.       name and contact information of the client(s) for whom the applicant processes RESULTS data (including the name of the ministry contract administrator where applicable)

2.       full name of the applicant

3.       address of the applicant

4.       e-mail of the applicant

5.       phone number of the applicant

6.       length of time required for the account

7.       statement regarding whether the applicant has been authorized by the client to submit data on behalf of the client

8.       statement of the applicant's credentials (e.g., registration with professional organization such as the Association of British Columbia Forest Professionals) if applicable

The contacts will have their systems contact set up your IDIR account if it is required to complete an FFT project.

Note: There is a cost to the Ministry for Spandial accounts.
